The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) UW student chapter is holding its Kickoff event in STARLab (More Hall 101) tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9th, at 12pm.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet other transportation focused students, get some free pizza, and learn about professional development opportunities through ITE. You’ll also learn about opportunities to get involved in ITE student leadership.

You’ll be joined by ITE Washington President, Claudia Hirschey, members of the ITE Washington section board Daniel Lai (City of Bellevue), Darcy Keenan (City of Bellevue), Manaswini Condoor (WSP) and Sarah Kennan (Fehr and Peers), who will discuss opportunities for students through the larger ITE state, regional and national organizations. This includes potential scholarships, conference travel stipends, and professional networking events.
