These positions are flexibly staffed and may be filled at the Engineering Assistant I, II, or III level depending on the applicant’s training and/or experience. The AKDOT is committed to your training in bridge design and have built in a progressive promotional path into this position where they will insure your further growth and development as an Engineer. If you love the outdoors, there’s lots to see and do in a state that’s well over twice the size of Texas. The temperature in Juneau is typically only 65 degrees in the summer with a few 80 degree days and the winters are typically 25 degrees with infrequent 0 degree days.
