King County Road Services Division is seeking a Materials Engineer IV (Engineer IV) to join their team!

The successful candidate will manage the AASHTO Accredited Materials Laboratory that provides geotechnical engineering and materials testing services throughout the life of a project. This position will act as the technical expert inspecting and evaluating geotechnical and pavement related claims, design, construction issues, and new technologies.

This position requires the ability to perform and review complex geotechnical and pavement design analyses, reports, plan details, estimates, and specifications for roadway pavements, bridge foundations, structural walls, culverts, and other road and roadside structures.
