I want to update you on IND E 315 Probability and Statistics for Engineers this summer quarter (SLN 11794).  This class is being offered TTh 9:40-11:10 and the course will be synchronous remote with in-person exams.  The classroom listed in the Time Schedule will be used for exam days, the lectures will be online. Students only have to come to class twice!  Here are the exam dates:

Exam 1: Thursday July 13, 2023 @ 9:40 AM – 11:10 AM

Exam 2: Thursday August 17, 2023 @ 9:40 AM – 11:10 AM

The instructor tells me that regardless of circumstances, online exams will not be an option entertained for the exams in this course.  He will be sure to clearly communicate this to students enrolled in the class.

Right now capacity is capped at 90 because that is what the classroom holds, but we may be able to get an additional classroom (or section) so that we can bump it up a bit, to 100 or so.

We will offer IND E 315 again in autumn 2023 and winter 2024.  We have tentative plans to offer it in spring 2024 but with a smaller enrollment.
