The APWA @ UW Student Chapter is hosting a construction project site visit to the landmark Seattle Waterfront Project next Friday, May 5th. We’d love to see you there!
Event Description:
“The complete transformation of the downtown Seattle waterfront after the removal of the Alaskan Way Viaduct is well underway and consists of a myriad of impressive projects. This site tour will consist of a walk along the waterfront with Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) engineers explaining projects ranging from: the Elliott Bay Seawall, the Union Street pedestrian bridge, construction of a redesigned Alaskan Way/Elliott Way, new pedestrian connections to Pike Place Market, the relocation of major utilities, and extensive pedestrian, bicycle, and park features.”
