Please join us next Monday, October 30 at 5:00PM in More Hall, Room 230 for a special guest lecture co-hosted by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) and Geo-Institute Graduate Student Society (GIGSS). The presentation entitled “Dealing with the High Seismic Forces acting on Tall Waterfront Bulkhead Structures in the Territory of Guam” will be given by Robin Lim, President of Geolabs, Inc., and we think it will be interesting for all civil engineering students, particularly those that may be interested in geotechnical or structural engineering.
