Hello Engineering Students,
Hope that your winter term is going well so far! I’m writing to you about a resource for supporting engineering undergraduate students: two Engineering Academic Success Coaches (ASCs) working within the College of Engineering’s Engineering Academic Center. This is an academic year partnership with UW Academic Support Programs, and we are extremely fortunate to have Engineering ASCs Francisco and Toni as part of the team.
Engineering ASCs are able to assist other engineering undergraduates with academic success strategies, including:
- Effective note taking and study techniques
- Time management
- Goal setting
- Recovering from a difficult assessment
Each coaching session is a 1 on 1 appointment for 30 minutes, either in person, or virtually. The focus is on meeting students where they are in order to highlight achievable action steps. You can use one of the bulleted links below to schedule an appointment with Francisco or Toni.
