Dear CEE Community, 

A reminder that the deadline to register an exhibit for discovery days is Friday, April 5! If you’re planning to host an exhibit but haven’t yet gotten around to signing up, now is the time to do so. Discovery Days welcomes thousands of fourth through eighth grade students from all over Washington state to engage with Engineering at the University of Washington! The event is on May 2 & 3, here at the Seattle Campus! 

Each engineering department is encouraging students, research staff, and faculty to participate by hosting an exhibit both days that teaches fourth through eighth graders about engineering and cutting-edge research! 

Here are a few tips before signing up: 

• Take a look at the attached event program from 2019 (the last time we held the event in person) to see the kinds of exhibits that participated in the past. 
• Visit the exhibitor websiteto plan an engaging, safe, and age-appropriate exhibit. 
• All exhibitors will receive a Discovery Days t-shirt and lunch on event days!
