RH2 Engineering in Bothell is seeking to fill a full-time/permanent Staff Engineer position in our Planning and Analysis group. We are seeking an upcoming grad or alumni that has had a focus in coursework in Hydrology and Hydrodynamics. The Planning and Analysis group primarily provides drinking water and wastewater planning/analysis and hydraulic modeling services, either as standalone projects or in support of facility design and construction to RH2 clients. With your skills you will:
- Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for drinking water distribution systems, wastewater and stormwater collection systems, and associated facilities (e.g. pump stations and reservoirs)
- Prepare water and wastewater comprehensive plans, reports, and other documents
- Support the design and construction of water, sewer, stormwaters, roadway, and irrigation projects
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with coursework focus in Hydrology and Hydrodynamics
- Completed Engineer-In-Training certification highly preferred; willingness and ability to obtain P.E. license when eligible
- Desire to work in public sector consulting with a focus on drinking water/wastewater modeling, planning, and analysis
- Strong technical writing, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
- Possess a detail-oriented approach to work and desire to produce high-quality deliverables
- Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred at an intermediate skill level
- Knowledge of or ability to learn design, mapping and hydraulic modeling software including WaterGEMS, Infowater Pro, SewerGEMS, PC-SWMM, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, and others
Depending on skills, qualifications, and experience, beginning compensation will vary but starts around $34.00/hour. RH2 values our employees’ work/life balance and compensates for overtime.
