This is an informational note for all CEE majors, but it is especially important for seniors who intend to graduate this academic year, as you need to plan carefully for the remaining two quarters.
Please take particular care to check the courses you have placed in MyPlan as part of your graduation plan to ensure that they are actually offered in the quarters in which you plan to take them. (MyPlan will allow you to place classes into any future quarter, even if they are not scheduled to be offered that quarter by the department.)
To make sure that CEE courses are offered in the quarters in which you wish to take them, please visit the CEE Course Planning Resources page. Here you will find:
The CEE Department’s Projected Course Offerings for 2015-2016 which will show all CEE courses and the quarters in which they are projected to be offered and by whom. (The 2016-2017 Projected Course Offering schedule should be posted soon, likely in November.) This is our internal working document and is subject to change, but it will give you a good preview as to the Department’s longer-term plans.
The Preliminary Time Schedule for future quarters provides a list of course to be offered for a particular quarter with the intended lecture and lab times. Again, this is our working document and is subject to change, but we are sharing this with students so that you have a preview of what is being proposed before it becomes officially available on the UW online Time Schedule. The CEE Preliminary Time Schedule is an important resource to help you plan ahead to avoid class conflicts.
The Projected Course Offerings and Preliminary Time Schedules are updated or posted as new information becomes, so check back periodically. (For information on outside department courses, please contact that department.)
Here are some additional resources you may find helpful in planning your academic schedule.

REMINDER TO SENIORS: If you intend to graduate during the 2015-16 academic year (autumn, winter, spring, or summer quarter), you must apply for your degree at this time with CEE advisors. Please sign up for a graduation application session, if you have not done so already. (https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/ceadvice/39872). Do this in October in order to have Graduating Senior Priority (GSP) registration for winter quarter.
Best,
