Civil Designer

Tuttle Engineering and Management (TEAM) is a well-established project management and civil engineering firm located in Skagit County. We have an immediate opening for a motivated civil designer or technician to assist with developing transportation and private development projects. TEAM is founded on a time-tested business model that collaborates with other industry professionals to efficiently complete projects. Our established client and consultant team relationships provide complete engineering services, particularly in the discipline of municipal infrastructure with an in-depth familiarity of the operational aspects of local agencies, private developers, and permit agencies. We specialize in civil engineering, project management, and construction administration services for a wide range of projects including site development and permitting, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, and transportation projects for commercial, retail, municipal, residential and governmental clients. This position will work closely with in-house professional engineers, project managers, and their clients.

 

We are interested in candidates with knowledge and experience of:

* Municipal and private infrastructure design

* Roadway design

* Water, sanitary sewer, stormwater design

* Grading and earthwork design

* Environmental studies and reports

* Construction specifications

* Construction observation and inspection

* Surveying

Requirements:

* Preferred minimum of 2 years private and/or public sector project experience

* Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD

* Ability to independently and efficiently lay out plans

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

* Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of work

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office

* Must have work authorization in the U.S.

* A valid Washington state driver’s license
