I wanted to make people aware (and hope they will pass on to any interested parties) that I have a position opening here at the Wyoming SCO and Water Resources Data System.

“Research Associate I at the Water Resources Data System/State Climate Office (WRDS/SCO) to assist in the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of water and climate data for the State of Wyoming.  To help support activities of the Wyoming Water Development Office through distribution of information and documents through their websites as well as assisting with Water Planning efforts for the state to include the identification of aging water infrastructure statewide.”

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or relevant field and at least one year of work-related experience using GIS and ESRI products or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access.  Experience with HTML coding and web design.  Experience with public speaking and customer service. Knowledge of water resources, hydrology, and hydrologic processes.
