WQ- Industrial Stormwater Unit at the Northwest region has an opening for an Environmental Engineer 2 in-training position.

[Note:  Candidates will be considered at the College Career Graduate, Environmental Engineer 1 and the Environmental Engineer 2 levels, depending on qualifications. For salary levels for each, please see the qualifications section of the posting.]

This position plays an important role in regulating industrial wastewater discharges to surface waters in the most populous region of the Washington State.  Regulated industries include maritime, aerospace, food processing, groundwater remediation, recycling and manufacturing.

The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mechanical, water resources, sanitary, or geotechnical engineering and anywhere from 1-2 years of environmental engineering work experience. If you or someone you know meets these qualifications and is interested in working in the area of water quality permitting, please check out the posting.  This position will remain open until filled, with an initial screening date of January 9th, 2023.
