You’ve received many notices about this but you must complete the Husky Prevention & Response (Title IX) Course before you’ll be able to register for SPR23.
The course will take you 60-90 minutes so we recommend completing it now so you don’t have to on the morning of your registration.

Spring quarter 2023 registration begins Friday, February 10, 2023.
To get started with registration, review your academic plan for spring quarter 2023 and seek guidance from an adviser if you need assistance. Then, sign into MyUW and complete your pre-registration steps before your estimated priority registration date.
Prepare for Registration
- View the Priority Registration Schedule for spring quarter 2023
- Complete your pre-registration steps before registration begins
- Check your tuition balance
- Verify that you do not have any registration blocks by checking the MyUW Registration card or the MyPlan Registration screen. A common cause of registration blocks could be:
- Incomplete COVID-19 vaccination. Note that you only need to upload this information one time, as opposed to each quarter that you are registering. If you have ANY registration holds, you will not be able to register for classes for spring 2023 until the registration hold is resolved. If you have any registration holds, you will see a message titled “Registration hold” that explains the cause of the block and provides instructions for how to resolve it and/or
- Measles, Mumps, and Meningococcal (MMM) immunization requirements and/or
- For new students autumn 2022 forward who still need to complete the Husky Prevention & Response module (see below).

Critical: Required Husky Prevention & Response (Title IX) Student Course
Husky Prevention & Response (HPR) is a course about preventing and responding to sex- and gender-based violence and harassment. Beginning with academic year 2022–2023 new and returning freshman, transfer, graduate, and professional students are required to complete the 60- to 90-minute online student course. New and returning 2022–2023 students who do not complete the course will be blocked from registering for spring 2023.
