Dr. Molly Blackley Jackson
Molly B. Jackson (she/her)
Dr. Molly Blackley Jackson is a general internal medicine physician at University of Washington. She spent the first part of her career in consult and hospital medicine, and now practices primary care at Roosevelt General Internal Medicine Clinic. She grew up in North Carolina and went to undergrad and medical school at UNC Chapel Hill. Molly has been a College mentor since 2009, is the former Cascade College Head, and is currently the Assistant Dean for the Colleges across WWAMI.
Dr. Jackson’s professional interests include bedside clinical skills, professional identity formation, equity in teaching and health care, elevating the arts and humanities in medicine, creating community, and advancing a climate of belonging for patients, students, faculty and staff. She is the past Chair of the Learning Communities Institute and is passionate about learning communities (like the Colleges) in medicine. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids as well as hiking, skate skiing, yoga, cooking, creating art with friends, gardening, and taking long walks outside.
