Palouse College Welcome Statement
Welcome to Palouse College! Based in Spokane and founded in 2013, ours was the first regional College.
The name of the College is derived from the phenomenal agricultural region just south of Spokane. It was formed from the dust deposited by torrential winds blowing off the great glaciers of the last ice age. This Loess soil is now among the most fertile in the world. In that line, our College also seeks to be fertile soil to nurture your development as physicians from the first day of medical school through graduation and beyond. Each of us is committed to helping all of you grow into capable and caring professionals while supporting you as individuals. We are honored to be part of your earliest experiences in medicine and look forward to knowing you and working together.
