Dr. Bethany McMaster

Dr. Bethany McMaster is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and former Montana State University and Montana WWAMI student. She was born and raised in Montana, graduated from Bozeman High School and lived in Germany for a year as an exchange student before returning for her undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and International Studies at MSU-Bozeman. After college, she spent a few years traveling and working prior to joining the WWAMI Montana class, graduating from the University of Washington in 2016. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico (UNM). Since then, she has taught medical students and supervised training of emergency medicine residents at the UNM School of Medicine while maintaining ties to her home state working locums at several rural Montana hospitals. She is passionate about education and rural health and is excited to be joining the Montana WWAMI Faculty.
