Dr. Andrea Kalus

Dr. Andrea Kalus is a medical dermatologist at the University of Washington.  Her practice focuses on complex medical dermatology with a special interest in clinical problems that overlap internal medicine and dermatology. She grew up in Kenya where her dad was making educational and public health films. Dr. Kalus is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine where she also completed two residencies, one in internal medicine and the other in dermatology. She thoroughly enjoys teaching students at the side of the patient in the clinic and in the hospital. Dr. Kalus has a special interest in teaching observation skill and using the humanities to discover more about ourselves and enhance physician practice. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, travel, art classes and spending time with her husband and two boys.
