Dr. Breana Taylor


Dr. Breana “Bre” Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Washington. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and completed undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She then moved to Seattle for Neurology residency and Vascular Neurology fellowship at the University of Washington. She is clinically based at Harborview Medical Center where she attends on the inpatient neurology service, sees patient in the Stroke Clinic, and cares for patients with acute stroke at other hospitals in the WWAMI region via telemedicine. In addition to her interest in vascular neurology she also has interests in neuropalliative care and medical education. She is a regular lecturer and small group instructor in the Mind Brain and Behavior course as well as several other courses within the School of Medicine. She enjoys working with medical students and residents to achieve and exceed their individual goals. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with friends, attending dance events, and live music.
