Dr. Mengru “Ruru” Wang

Dr. Mengru “Ruru” Wang is a geriatrician and general internist at Harborview Medical Center. She completed medical school at Oregon Health & Science University and internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship at the University of Washington. She feels fortunate to be practicing full spectrum medicine with house calls, primary care, nursing home visits, and hospital medicine. She is passionate about teaching geriatrics, transitions in care, and workplace inclusivity. Ruru was born in Shandong Province, China and grew up in Newcastle, Australia. In her free time, she enjoys finding the perfect New York Slice with her husband, throwing tennis balls for her chocolate Labrador, and dabbling in mushroom identification.
