Dr. Tomoko Sairenji
Dr. Tomoko Sairenji is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She is the Olympic College Head and faculty mentor and the faculty advisor for the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) and Specialty Career Advisor for students interested in Family Medicine. Dr. Sairenji got her MD at Okayama University and did a 2-year junior residency at Aso-Iizuka Hospital in Fukuoka, Japan. She came to the US to do Family Medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA, where she served as Chief Resident and did a 2-year faculty development fellowship and Master of Science in Medical Education before coming to Seattle. She has two young daughters and enjoys running, reading, and is a novice gardener. Dr. Sairenji loves building trusting relationships with her patients and helping students reach their goals and finding joy and purpose in medicine.
