The Center for the Study of the Pacific Northwest is dedicated to advancing historical scholarship on the North American West, with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest and its connections to other places. Our site also provides information and resources useful for students, educators, researchers, and anyone interested in regional history.

PNQ

Pacific Northwest Quarterly is one of the longest continuously produced historical journals on the West Coast. A peer-reviewed journal issued by the University of Washington, PNQ publishes scholarly work related to the history and culture of the Pacific Northwest. Along with general information submissions and subscriptions, you can find a selection of recently featured PNQ articles available for viewing.
