Dalton Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry

Eligibility

The Dalton Fellowship Program is open to domestic and international applicants. Fellows must have earned their Ph.D. degree before the start of their postdoctoral appointment. It is preferred that applicants be in the process of completing their doctoral studies at the time of their Dalton Fellowship nomination. However, candidates who have briefly held postdoctoral appointments (i.e., less than two years) at institutions other than the University of Washington will be considered. Current UW graduate students across all disciplines are not eligible, as it is in their interest to pursue postdoctoral research elsewhere. Current or previous postdoctoral researchers at the UW across all disciplines are likewise not eligible to apply.

Nominator

Any individual, other than the person being nominated or a current or emeritus University of Washington faculty member, may serve as nominator. It is anticipated that the Ph.D. supervisor will typically serve as the nominator.
