DEPARTMENT & FACULTY NEWS

The unexpected snowstorm in February made it Seattle’s snowiest month in 50 years, but the department continued to be busy with various presentations, conferences, and other events. In other department news, our administrative assistant Sophie Wiseman sadly left us at the beginning of March to relocate to Oregon. She has loved her time with ISOM, and wishes the department all the success in the future!
FORTHCOMING EVENTS
Foster and ISOM will co-host the prestigious Supply Chain Thought Leaders (SCTL) conference, co-hosted with the Gates Foundation on July 22 and 23, 2019. The first day will be hosted at the Gates Foundation and Foster will hold the second day (July 23) of the event. ISOM Faculty are welcome to attend. The Program Chairs for the event are Hau Lee (Stanford Business School), Jan Hammond (Harvard Business School), Kamran Moinzadeh (The Foster School), Serguei Netessine (The Wharton School) and Prashant Yadav (Gates Foundation).
