Yong-Pin Zhou was invited to present at the Bellingham Symposium on Modeling and Data Analytics on August 30, 2021.
Michael Wagner gave a talk on “A Dynamic Programming Model for Crowdsourced Labor Planning at Amazon Flex” at Amazon’s 2021 Consumer Science Summit.
Yong-Pin Zhou and Yiming Zhang‘s paper, “Delay Information in Virtual Queues: A Large-Scale Field Experiment on a Major Ridesharing Platform,” (joint work with Georgia Tech’s Qiuping Yu) was accepted by Management Science (fast track).
Jiaying Deng, Zhen Fang, Zibo Liu, and Yiming Zhang passed their general exams over the summer quarter.
