Welcome to the Student Innovation Center! Based in the ground floor of Bagley Hall (Room 82A) in Department of Chemistry, this machine shop is a resource for the entire University of Washington. Here at the SIC, we strive to enable research and innovation by all students at the UW.
We provide access to subtractive and additive manufacturing methods in the forms of 3D printers, mills, lathes, and other resources. Click here for a full list of the SIC’s resources and machines. Shop training classes are also available upon request and scheduled trainings will be available during the school year.
