Service Description

The Department of Medicine hosts a secure, private SharePoint system (DOM Cloud) for supporting the individual needs of our clients. Our SharePoint has been customized with UW Medicine branding, and includes customizable navigation options. Additional tools that help us streamline our workflows and organize documentation include:

  • Custom forms for inputting data
  • Automated actions that allow data to be manipulated, transformed and/or moved via a triggering event, this makes it easy to manipulate list data and create process work flows to match the groups existing processes.
  • Parent/child relationships between lists
  • Print current viewed data from button on same page
  • Library navigation Bread Crumbs so users can easily traverse the folder structure from any level on the top of the page
  • Conditional highlighting of list rows and persistent headings when scrolling through a large list.
  • Custom URLs
  • Authentication using Outpost (Department of Medicine), NetID (University of Washington), or AMC (UW Medicine) accounts
  • Duo Authentication for sensitive restricted content

Office 365 SharePoint

Service Description

SharePoint Online an Office 365 product for basic file authoring, editing, and shareing. Also allows for some basic documentation of business processes and knowledge management.

Access Instructions

The URL for each Office 365 SharePoint site will begin with “https://uwnetid.sharepoint.com/sites/” and end with a URL of your choice. To begin review the UW information here:
