Mission

The Storytelling Fellows program consists of a series of workshops focused on providing skills-based experiences and learning to online participants. The program is supported through a partnership between the Research Commons and UW Libraries Instructional Design (LibID) and staffed by librarians, Professional Libraries staff, and Libraries’ graduate student employees.

Through these workshops, graduate students at the UW explore telling the story of their research or their relationship to it through a variety of genres and formats. We believe that these learning opportunities should extend not just to students on our campuses, but those who wish to engage with these experiences who might not be able to attend a traditional Libraries workshop. Storytelling Fellows learning opportunities are always free of cost to students and instructional materials are made openly available on this site and through other Libraries-related materials.
