Are you looking to share mice or rats with a fellow PI? Do you need available rats or mice? When planning out your protocol, did you remember to include the necessary animals to practice techniques?

How long has it been since you looked at your approved protocol? Things change and memory erodes; especially in these crazy Covid times.
Before you inject that substance into your research animal, or perform that technique, double-check that it is in the most recent version of your approved protocol.
Before you perform that technique, check the records that you and your team have the required training and certification, when applicable.
