	Finding Flooded Cages Have you seen a flooded mouse or rat cage and not known what to do? A new lesson Finding Flooded Cages with Mice and Rats is available. The lesson explains step-by-step how to care for the animals and reporting the incident to facility supervisors and Vet Services.
	IACUC Protocol Requirements Policy The IACUC policy on protocol requirements was recently updated to reflect changes in the Animal Welfare Act regulations and updated guidance from the Department of Defense. Annual reviews are no longer required for any protocol (just a triennial review).
Environmental Health & Safety
	Exposed Skin is Unprotected Skin Pants or skirts must cover skin on legs (in the case of skirts, long skirts with socks covering ankles/calves is acceptable). If your street clothing does not meet these safety requirements, be sure to change into scrubs provided at the facility. This is for YOUR Safety.
