Drug Backorder: Buprenorphine SR

Extended-release buprenorphine compounded from Wedgewood Pharmacy (Zoopharm) is currently unavailable until October 2024, at the earliest. This includes the following formulations: 3.0 mg/mL, 5.0 mg/mL, and 10 mg/mL.

If needed, reach out to Veterinary Services for guidance on alternative analgesics appropriate for your study.

Note: Any analgesics new to your protocol will need to be added with an amendment. Reach out to OAW if you need HoverBoard assistance.

Support for UW scholars experiencing targeted harassment

Resources are available at UW.Nationwide, scholars have increasingly become targets for harassment because of their personal or institutional beliefs or their area of research. These attacks can be professionally disruptive and personally difficult, especially when research is misconstrued or misrepresented.

Harassment can be upsetting and traumatic, but you do not have to face it alone. Whether you’re dealing with an active harassment situation, looking to reduce the impact of harassment or trying to prevent harassment, this guide is a resource for UW scholars.

Updated Field Operations Safety Manual

If your animal research work include operations out in the field, download the latest version of the UW Field Operations Safety Manual (PDF), which provides updated information on state regulations, UW policies, safe work practices, and document templates.
