Annual Animal Numbers Report Annual Animal Numbers Report The University of Washington must report its annual usage of animals in research, teaching, and testing to regulatory and accrediting agencies. Please provide this information in the table(s) below for the period of October 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024. Responses must be received by November 1, 2024. Directions For all species approved on your protocol(s), report the number of animals used during the reporting period using the table below for guidance. List each species on a separate line. The number of animals used includes: Animals used for experimental purposes Animals generated as part of a breeding program (e.g., animals of incorrect genotype) Animals housed during the reporting period but not yet used If you did not use any animals of a given species during the reporting period, list the species and report zero (“0”).
