AssessDetermine if you need an IACUC protocol. Some animal activities may be exempt from IACUC review, such as work with incidental tissues and certain types of field work. Additionally, determine if you can serve as PI (see definition in Glossary). If you are uncertain, contact OAWRSS (oawrss@uw.edu) or call the office at 206.685.7363. If yes, proceed to step 2. |
