Welcome new PhD Student!

All, help we welcome Pratima KC to the PFC/RRAMS and PFC/RSGAL (where she will have a desk). Here is some info about Pratima:

Pratima KC – PhD student of Dr. V. Kane with Dr. Moskal serving on her committee. She has worked on large-scale vegetation responses to drought indices using remote sensing data. She currently studies the use of airborne lidar for analyzing forest resilience to disturbance processes such as fire and drought to develop better land management practices. She is also investigating the spatial distribution of woody shrub vegetation across interior Alaska.

Say hello and welcome Pratima, happy to have you join us!
