Ph.D., Economics, 2022

Kathy completed her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Washington in 2022. She specializes in applied microeconomics and empirical I/O, working on projects focusing on the platform economy (such as Uber and Airbnb). Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, she has spent different parts of her life in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Austin, and Seattle. Following graduation, she began working as a data scientist at Airbnb.
