News | Partnership with Washington Farmworkers for Health Equity

Great article and video on a community-driven project that engages with UW faculty from across multiple departments to research and improve health equity among farmworkers in Washington state. The lead investigator of the project is Dr. Vanessa Galaviz, from UW Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences (DEOHS). Co-investigators include Dr. June Spector, associate professor in the UW Department of Medicine and School of Public Health, and Gino Aisenberg, associate professor in the UW School of Social Work. Funding for the project came from from the UW Population Health Initiative.
