Finals week: Evening Hours at the Library

With finals on the horizon, you may soon find yourself looking for a place to study. The library has not only quiet study areas in both the Tioga Library Building and the Snoqualmie Building but also has reservable study spaces located in the Snoqualmie Building. So, whether you need a quiet place to read or a space to practice your group presentation, the library has you covered!

However, many people still don’t know that, during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, the library is open late for your study needs even during! The library offers extended library hours Monday – Thursday for all UW students, staff, or faculty that need a place to study, work or meet later in the day. Even during Finals week! We are open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM Monday – Thursday. If you plan to stay in the library after 9:00 PM make sure to bring your Husky ID card as UW ID is required to access the library after 9:00.

Both library buildings are open during extended hours. Better yet you can still use study rooms and collaborative spaces, check out books and equipment, checkout course reserves, and print all the way up until the library closes at 12:00 AM. Although the research help desk closes at 5:00 PM you can chat with a librarian online for research help any time or anywhere.
