You’ve started your research and maybe found a few sources, but you’d like to take your skills up to the next level and discover more relevant scholarship…we have the workshop for you! Learn how the experts get the most out of their database searches and use citation networks to enhance their research process.
During this hands-on workshop you will:
- Identify databases relevant to your discipline
- Understand and practice advanced search techniques
- Use the sources you already have to find more via citation mining
Drop in to Tioga Library Building (TLB) Room 115 for one of the following sessions, no advance registration required:
- Tuesday, November 8th or 15th, 12:30-1:20pm
- Wednesday, November 9th or November 16th, 12:30-1:20pm
- Thursday, November 10th, 5:00-5:50pm
Participants will get the most out of this workshop if they bring the device that they do research on and/or a research assignment they’re currently working on.
