The research help desk has now moved to the first floor of the Tioga Library Building (TLB1)! You can find us right next to the circulation desk. Here are some things we want you to know about research help.
- Our hours: Research help is open Monday/Tuesday 10:00AM to 4:00PM, Wednesday/Thursday 11:00AM to 4:00PM, and Friday by appointment.
- We’re never too busy for you: We’re here to help you with research! Even if the individual at the desk looks busy students are our first priority.
- Research support: The desk is a good place to get help for navigating research. We can help you with database searches, refining research questions, navigating peer review, and even help you with citations! We can offer you help at any stage in the research process.
- Scheduling an appointment: If you want to schedule a consultation you can! We have both online/phone and in person appointments.
- Resources: We can usually get you most resources. If it’s not in the library you can ask us for any published article or book and Interlibrary Loan will get it for you–for free!
