Recognize that library? We sure do. Two UW Tacoma students were winners in a recent UW Libraries video contest and we couldn’t be more proud.
The Friends of the Libraries Student Video Contest asked participants to create short videos showcasing one of the UW Libraries five values. The values are being user centered, collaboration, equity, creativity, and sustainability — and truly, all the videos went above and beyond to do them justice. (We’re blushing!)
Four exceptional student videos received awards including first-place winner Ariel Advincula and third-place winner Jason Masters, whose videos were filmed at the UW Tacoma Library. Check out the complete list of winners below, and be sure to head over to the UW Libraries YouTube channel to see their stellar final products.
You can find out more about the Friends of the Libraries Student Video Contest on the UW Libraries website… and maybe start dreaming up ideas for future contests.
