Join Us: De-stress with Dogs at TLB/SNO!

Service Dogs at UWT Event posterNeed a breather from finals, projects, and everything else going in with the end of the quarter? Join NAMI On Campus and Cascade Service Dogs in partnership with the UW Tacoma Library to de-stress from finals on Wednesday, December 8th from 11 AM to 1 PM with some sweet emotional support dogs!

Service dogs will be hanging out in the TLB3 Atrium (TLB 307B) and SNO Lobby. Not only will this be your chance to pet some dogs and hang out with your peers, but you can also check out SNO before it reopens next year.

UW Tacoma Library is thrilled to partner with NAMI On Campus and Cascade Service Dogs for this event.

NAMI On Campus is a mental health-focused RSO and a UWT campus affiliate of NAMI, or National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots mental health organization. NAMI on Campus is committed to supporting students as they transition back to on-campus life.

Cascade Service Dogs is a 501©3 nonprofit that trains service dogs for veterans, first responders with post traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and mobility and balance for children on the autism spectrum.
