As an intern for Granite Construction you will monitor the progress of field construction/quantity take-off activities assuring compliance with project plans and specifications in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures. Duties include:
- Assist with the tracking of quantities and associated job costs
- Communicate with foremen and superintendents to ensure work is being done in an efficient manner
- Perform quantity take-off
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of equipment and materials
- Assist with community relations
- Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc.
- Communicate with the Project Manager / Estimator on the status of current operations
- Additional responsibilities as required
