Qualifications:
- Strong candidates will hold a B.S or higher in an engineering, biomedical or other interdisciplinary field
- International students are encouraged to apply
- Estimated tuition/fees for 2016-2017 are $30,000 for Washington State Residents and $36,000 for non-residents
- The Master of Applied Bioengineering program is financial aid and I-20 eligible.
The Master of Applied Bioengineering is a new degree that integrates engineering design and entrepreneurship education to creatively address unresolved clinical issues. Students will:
- Identify real-world health care needs alongside UW Medicine clinicians and faculty
- Gain technical expertise medical imaging, molecular bioengineering and/or biomaterials.
- Learn about business issues specific to biomedical technology or commercialization
- Complete a health care focused team design project, or full-time industry internship
