Finding additional resources for funding a college education can seem like a daunting task for students and their families. The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) can help support students in their college and career goals by providing a renewable scholarship of up to $2500 to $7500 per year, for students pursuing a first bachelors’ degree in eligible high-demand science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) or health care fields. This year, we will select over 1400 students from across the state to receive scholarship as well as additional professional development support.

The online application is available HERE from Monday, January 4th, 2016 to Monday, February 29th, 2016. In addition to the online application, applicants also need to submit an official college school transcript post-marked by Monday, March 7th, 2016. Please note that applicants must also file for either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) by Monday, March 7th, 2016.
