Hello, we are interested in offering a summer internship, and if it works out it will continue in the fall of 2019 and into 2020. We would like (for next year’s class) Seniors or Juniors who are engineering students who is interested in becoming a Structural Engineer.
We are in Mountlake Terrace and we specialize in the telecommunications industry along with residential and industrial building work. We work on all types of TV, radio , and telecommunication towers all over the US for private and public clients. These towers range in height from 50 feet to 2000 feet. Our work in residential and industrial ranges from retrofit, mod work to design of new higher end homes, commercial buildings and vineyard facilities. We are looking for an engineering intern who is interested in the possibility of some travel as it may arise in the future with continued full time employment, training to safely climb towers if long term employment works out, learning how we analyze the towers, report writing, AutoCAD and learning about this unique type of work. Our goal is to provide our engineers with a well-rounded experience that will help them to become licensed Civil Engineers with the goal of becoming a Structural Engineer. Additional work will be to assist our engineers getting reports sent out, helping with accounting, helping with proposals and working with the senior engineers to assist in engineering license renewal. Starting date will be in mid-June so that the hired intern can overlap with our current intern.
