To engineering students interested in water resources as a career:
SPU’s Water Resources section makes decisions about planning, operations, maintenance, and capital improvements to the SPU’s drinking water sources on timescales ranging from day-to-day to decades. They manage the water supply for fish and people all year around.
The Water Resources section is currently looking for engineering student applicants for SPU’s Water Resources Engineering Internship. This is an opportunity to observe and participate in the section.
The intern will primarily perform tasks that are important but not critical to section operations. The internship is a mix of work in the office and in the field. Successful interns are able to operate well on their own but are also comfortable asking supervisors for guidance as often as necessary to stay on task efficiently. The listing includes more details about minimum requirements and desired qualifications.

They generally interview in March and the start date is generally in May.
