Check out this message from Alice Kim from Career Center @ Engineering:
As we navigate the uncertainties around us as best as we can, I’m sure many of you are also concerned how the global pandemic will affect your job/internship search. Although many companies are still figuring out their hiring needs, the good news is that there are many new job and internship postings being posted in Handshake, so we encourage you to actively seek out those opportunities and stay motivated.
NETWORKING AMA (Tuesday, 4/21, 4pm): Networking is a critical part of a job/internship search process at any given time. However, it can be an especially powerful strategy at times like this. Take the advantage of the remote world by having virtual career conversations with the industry professionals, and gain advice while building industry contacts. Join me on Tuesday and learn about how you can identify and reach out to the people that you’d like to learn more about! You will also be able to ask any questions that you may have regarding your job/internship search, learn from other students’ experiences, and strategize on the next steps together as a group. You can click on the following link to join the session – https://washington.zoom.us/j/458193294
