Undergrad Research Opportunity within CEE

CEE Professor Jessica Lundquist is currently recruiting an undergraduate researcher for her Forest-snow interactions and website development project.

Project Description: We are looking for a student to take over management of the forest-snow project on Zooniverse and to assist with general website updates and improvements. You can check out the website here.

This is a paid hourly appointment, with a starting salary of $16/hour, 10 hours per week during the school year, and can be completed remotely. Student is expected to participate in weekly group meetings and individual check-ins (which will be online so long as the university is mainly online) and may participate in additional research as time/interest allows. Student Learning Benefit: Students will learn about forest-snow interactions and citizen science. They will develop computer programming skills and interact with scientists at a variety of career stages.

Minimum Requirements: Student with sophomore or junior standing, good communication and computer skills. Interested in snow processes and enthusiastic to learn more.
