Summer Internship Opportunity with Tower Engineering

Tower Engineering is offering an engineering internship beginning around mid-June for at least until the new school year starts. They would like to hear from next year’s classes of Seniors and Juniors who are engineering students who are interested in becoming a Structural Engineer.

Tower Engineering is in Mountlake Terrace, and they specialize in the telecommunications industry along with residential and industrial building work. They work on all types of TV, radio , and telecommunication towers all over the US for private and public clients. These towers range in height from 50 feet to 2000 feet. TE’s work in residential and industrial ranges from retrofit, mod work to design of new higher end homes, commercial buildings, and vineyard facilities, learning how they analyze the towers, report writing, AutoCAD and learning about this unique type of work.

One of the main tasks is to assist in the goal of preserving the information on projects. TE’s goal is to provide engineers with a well-rounded experience that will help them to become licensed Civil Engineers with the goal of becoming a Structural Engineer. They also will need help in the repot production, assembling and getting the reports sent out. There will be some work to assist accounting, helping with proposals, and working with the senior engineer to assist in engineering license renewal.

TE expects the interviews will be on the 17th and the start date will be on the 18th or the 21st. To set up an interview, contact Madison Batt, PE, SE in the following ways:
