The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is currently accepting applications for the position of an undergraduate TA for CEE 317 “GeoSurveying” in Autumn Quarter 2021.
The position requires assistance with the labs on T. 1:30 to 4:20, W. 10:30 to 1:20, Th. 1:30 to 4:20 and F. 8:30 to 11:30. lab instructions are given by the instructor. The TA will be responsible for sanitizing and checking the equipment out and back in, responding to student questions as they work regarding lab procedures, and making sure that equipment remains functioning during the lab. The position does not require office hours. You may apply for some or all the labs.
To be eligible for the position, you should have taken the course at the UW. A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, AtcGIS is a plus. The position pays $17.22 per hour.
